So... I made a huge life decision. After graduating with my Bachelor's in Psychology in January (whoohoo) I am going to apply to Graduate School, for my Masters in Mental Health Counseling. Yep people, I am going to go for my LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor.) I talked with the GF at length about this. I have always wanted to go for it, but self doubt had kept me from moving forward. To be honest, I'm not all that great of a student. I don't know if it has to do with having A.D.D. or what, but I have always - and continue- to find school a challenge *unless* it's a class I'm highly interested in. I've also never ever had anyone in my corner, so to speak... Now though, I do. She believes in me as well. It's not that I don't believe in myself, it's just that I get dissapointed. I'm just not all that school savvy. But here I go... I'm going for it! Very excited too. I spoke with a school yesterday, and to be honest it really sounds like a perfect fit. We'll be in contact frequently up until it's time for my to apply. Soooooo... that's that.
Other than school news, not much else new or exciting in my world. Just focusing a lot on school, working hard, and spending quality time with the GF. Life's good.
